Golf at Miles Grant
Our challenging and perfectly manicured golf course has been known since 1972 as one of the finest in the area. The 18-hole, par-64 course sports two legitimate par-fives, five par-fours, 10 par-threes, and one hole that can play as a par-four or five. The course has only “two” lakes – actually one that wraps around the 18th hole and also borders the 17th hole. All skill levels from the senior to the junior golfer, find the course to be a challenge. Our facility will give you an enjoyable golf round in under four hours; you can ride or walk the course. There’s always a breeze!
Course was designed by Charles M. Mahannah and constructed by Mahannah & Howard Associates. Opened in 1972. A Master Improvement Plan by Sanford Golf Design in 2002. Converted to TifEagle Greens in 2003 and 2005.

Golf Shop Information
Miles Grant Country Club has three separate areas for practice or instruction. Develop your golf skills to the fullest using these practice areas. First practice hitting and analyzing your T shot. The full swing area is equipped with five hitting stations in a netted area, long and high enough to determine both direction and trajectory of full shots. Next to that we have a 40-yard short range with a small target green and practice sand bunker. You’ll find it perfect for wedge practice both in and out of the sand. Our third area is the practice putting green. Hone your skills on this large, well maintained putting green with sufficient area around it for practicing chipping and pitching. This is where players can cut strokes off their score.
Need more than just practice? Our PGA professionals are eager to assist in making your efforts toward improving your game both enjoyable and rewarding. Individual half hour or one hour lessons as well as one hour small group clinics of two to four people are available.
On-staff PGA Life Member, Bob Hunter. Bob is semi-retired with a very flexible schedule which helps to meet your individual or group needs. Lessons and private clinics can be scheduled singly or in a series. It is a great format for couples or a group wanting to start playing golf, or for a foursome that needs a little help getting out of the sand. Bob offers a sign-up clinic on Wednesday mornings for beginning players.
Steve Cotela, a PGA Life Member, has a rich family history of promoting men, women, and junior golf, and has been an instructor at Miles Grant since 2006. Steve is available for private or group instruction.
